When you create an account on WishCurator, we store:
Your email address, display name, and (optional) profile photo — needed to sign you in and identify you to people you collaborate with.
The items you save — the URL, title, price, currency, image, and optional notes you provide.
The buckets you create and the people you invite to collaborate on them.
Your price alerts and notification preferences.
2. What we do NOT collect
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not track you across other apps or the web.
We do not auto-capture screen views, taps, or keystrokes. Our analytics only sees events we explicitly emit (e.g. bucket_created, item_added) — and those events never carry item URLs, titles, or prices.
3. Third-party services we use
The app relies on the following processors to operate:
Supabase (US region) — database + authentication backend. All your saved items, buckets, and account data are stored here. supabase.com/privacy
Sentry — crash reporting. PII keys (email, URLs, titles) are scrubbed from breadcrumbs before transmission. sentry.io/privacy
Zyte — scraping the public product pages of stores you save items from, on your behalf. We do not log or send Zyte any account information.
4. Your rights
You can, at any time, from inside the app:
Export your data (Settings → Data Export) — receive a JSON copy of everything we hold about you.
Delete your account (Settings → Delete Account) — permanently removes your profile, your buckets, your items, your alerts, and your notification subscriptions. Cascading deletion runs server-side; we keep no backups of deleted accounts.
Opt out of analytics — toggle in Settings → Privacy → Analytics.
Manage notifications — toggle individual notification categories in Settings → Notifications, or disable WishCurator notifications entirely in your device settings.
If you are in the EU, UK, or California: you have additional statutory rights to access, correct, or restrict our processing of your personal data. Email hello@wishcurator.com to invoke any of these.
5. Blocked domains
For technical reasons (login walls, anti-scraping, region locks) we cannot reliably fetch product details from some stores. We maintain an internal blocked-domains list and reject saves from those domains at add time. The list is a property of the service, not a record about you.
6. Children
WishCurator is intended for users aged 13 and over (16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from younger users.
7. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page and surface a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
